JM Security Systems has signalled its intentions for future success and growth by moving to new premises that are double the size of its previous base.
But it hasn’t moved far – next door to its old home.
Just a short walk from the city’s historic Jewellery Quarter, JM Security Systems’ new 6,000 sq ft home at 65 Summer Lane is a state-of-the-art premises, complete with an interior-designed customer showroom where the expert team can demonstrate to clients the different products that are available and how each one works.
In a major investment for the company, the new premises also includes training rooms, to ensure that the company’s operatives and engineers are as up to date as possible with their knowledge and skills; a fully fitted stock room; a smart entrance and reception area to greet guests; and a separate entrance for engineers.
“We had outgrown the old premises and we wanted somewhere a lot smarter as we grow the company,” said a spokesman.
“Our reputation as a leading security systems firm is growing and we needed larger, better premises to reflect that; it’s a much more professional shop window for us.
“We’re particularly pleased to have a great showroom where we can show customers the range of products we have on offer. It enables us to demonstrate how each one works, which means customers will have a much better understanding of them.”
The move has enabled JM Security Systems to employ four new engineers and three office staff and further new jobs are expected to be available over the next 12 months.
